Michael Myers isn't the first person to create pixel posters let alone pop culture posters, but he is definitely one of the first to combine the two. Considering that these characters were born in past generations really gives these pixelized images some context. Of course, I'm sure Michael Myers created them more out of fun than to make a statement about when 'Star Wars' or 'Batman' was created.
Hailing from Waterloo, Iowa, Michael Myers definitely has a fascination with both pop culture phenomena and illustrations. In the past, he has created vintage-style DC comic book character posters as well as TV show 'Lost' illustrations. I have to say though, as much as I am a fan of 'Lost,' Michael Myers' pixel posters are pretty badass.
