Organic Burrito Branding

Kathy Lees Created These Playful Mexican Burrito Labels

Designer Kathy Lees has created this line of colorful labels that are used to package organic Mexican burritos. The organic burrito line called ‘El Sabor Libre’ is playfully labeled with Mexican wrestler faces wearing traditional wrestling masks. Beside each face is an illustrated Mexican burrito ingredient like a pepper or a lime.

This playful face and food pattern is infused with bright colors and placed on top of a light-colored background like blue or off-white.The pattern is broken up with a placement of handwriting typography that reads the name ‘El Sabor Libre.’ The typography is actually the designer's own personal writing.

To complete this line of packaging, a set of stickers was created to seal the packages as well as to showcase the flavor of each burrito. The playful packaging is simple and legible meaning it can appeal to all age groups because it directly reflects the contents of the package.
