Two interesting mediarchitecture projects are showing the integration of moving pictures into facades of buildings. This fascinating new architectural innovation turns media screens into communicative elements in urban spaces.

The Media Facades Festival Berlin, which runs from Oct. 17 until Nov. 3 will exhibit buildings like the Allianz Arena in Berlin, the Galleria Department Store in Seoul, the Chanel Tower in Tokyo, the Grand Lisboa Casino in Macao, the National Library in Belarus, the Pixel Cloud in London, Blinkenlights in Berlin and Dexia Tower in Brussels.

Also, the Urbanscreens Melbourne Project, which runs from the Oct. 3 to 8, will demonstrate the influence and possibilities of urban screens in cultural life of big cities. Stats for Mediarchitecture Trending: Older & Chilly
