The MEANSWHILE Spring/Summer 2021 collection was originally seen during the Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo showcasing. The Japanese fashion label unveils a seasonal range of functional designs for the rising temperatures. This features many breathable pieces including outerwear to ease into the season, base layers with relaxed silhouettes, and wide shorts.
There is also a collaborative boot along with Danner that joins the seasonal capsule as well. As some functional fashion, the brand launches technical vests, some collarless jackets, and a Air Circulation System Rain Jacket with fans built in to the piece. The rest of the capsule includes some earthy tonal knitwear, ghurka trousers, and bucket hats. Additionally, the pieces are showcased at a sandy setting to bring forth earth layers of clay, dust, and mud.
