Today's brands must maintain a level of transparency, and as a brand that has had its fair share of the spotlight -- both positive and negative -- McDonald's is trying to make sure its customers know exactly where its food comes from and who's involved. The latest initiative from the fast food giant is the McDonald's suppliers campaign, which features real, behind-the-scenes people who supply the restaurant with its organic meat and vegetables.
The McDonald's suppliers campaign will be launched in the United States in early January 2012 and comprises television, print and digital media components. Among the suppliers to be featured are Frank Martinez and Jenn Bunger, who supply potatoes, and beef supplier Steve Fogelsong at Black Gold Ranch.
