The heart of the celebration wil be Leticia, capital of the state of the Amazonas where the president of Colombia will lead the independence party along with president Lula Da Silva from Brasil and Alan Garcia from Peru. Shakira and Carlos Vives, a major local artist, along with local tribal bands will give the people a one of a time experience which will unite millions of colombians around the world thru music. The event will be broadcasted online here: http://gcn.mincultura.gov.co/transmision-en-vivo/ This day colombians are also going to protest against kidnapping of hundreds of hostages kept by guerrillas, specially FARC. White t-shirts , globes and flags will flood major cities in Colombia and the world in a huge rally for freedom. As a proud colombian Trendhunter I would like to invite you to join this huge celebration for freedom and peace.
