A Mason jar lamp makes an easy and cute DIY to keep you busy during the winter. It's the most functional item you can buy in stores, lending itself as a catalyst for countless creative ideas and projects.
From storage to decor, mason jars have your back. This DIY shows you how to light one up to create a decorative ceiling lamp! You'll need the jar, clamp light fixture, light bulb, nail and marker, cutting board, sandpaper and a hammer.
Place the lid on a hard surface and trace the socket of the light fixture onto it. Tracing the marked circle, hammer the nail into the lid and pop out the round cutout. Smooth the edges with sand paper and place the end of the socket through the lid. Screw in the light bulb and light it up!
