Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2014 menswear takes on a relaxed bohemian look for the warm season. The theme uses time and memory, as if materials have aged in suspension or storage. Rust marks trace tee-shirt lines, imprints of keys in leather are transformed into necklaces and jackets are taken apart and rebuilt with exposing seams.

The collection explores new and old and each garment embodies both of these qualities. Long fitted shirts are draped over loose pants and aged leather jeans and the overall effect combined with masculine models completes an effortless cool bohemian look. Models have full-grown beards, some styled with wax while other models are clean-shaven from scalp to chin. Each look is not classically vogue, but instead is completely wearable and innately masculine.
