The Margaret Howell Fall 2014 Menswear Collection is inviting more admiration for the classic vision. As proved by other recent menswear collections, androgyny is all the rage this season, and you can see in the models that they're not out-rightly masculine, but not fully feminine either.
There's something beautiful about the grey area right down the middle; Howell taps into this idea through detached masculinity. The collection borrows equally from the traditions of the artist and laborer with relaxed, utilitarian shapes in a palette of black, deep blue, pale denim and neutral.
It's the subtle details that count for everything in this collection, including the tabbed pockets on Henley shirts and geometric Fair Isle motifs across hand-knitted sweaters. Each look is relaxed and pale, paired with thick brows and lustrous locks for a youthful glow.
