Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier have designed the Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 Collection and the shift is notable. Without the men's collection, the volume is turned way up on girl power. While last year the show was set to the tune of "What Would Pussy Riot Do," this year fierceness is found in boots, belts, dresses and suiting pieces.

Belts are thick and obvious, dresses are flattering but not feminine and the suiting pieces are just rebellious with front-pleated trousers that extend into suspenders. A gray pant skort with bright red piping and oversized blazers are held close with said gigantic belts.

There's also the more playful side of the collection, but girl power is definitely the highlight.
