For those looking for unique flooring that still has a touch of the traditional, the Marbelous Wood tiles are sure to please. Although they definitely yield a stunning wooden floor, the grain has been cut in such a way to create a rainbow-like effect that makes each tile look like the inside of a marble. Perhaps that is where it gets its name from.

Provided by Snedker Studio, the Marbelous Wood flooring debuted during the Danish Biennale for Crafts and Design. Essentially, the Marbelous Wood tiles are created using a decorative technique that is applied to raw, Nordic pinewood, allowing the natural growth lines already existing in the wood to be enhanced.
