Roses are beautiful, but expensive. However, leaves are free and generally abundant, which is why my DIY side loves this idea.

These maple leaf roses are made by folding and manipulating leaves into the shapes of flowers. They are bound together to look like a centerpiece made of roses.

Not only is the whole project free, but it also looks cute and autumn-like, and looks like a fun DIY to try with your kids.

Who cares if it doesn’t work out? You can go to the backyard and find some more leaves.
