Compagnie Beau Geste's Transports Exceptionnels
The unusual pairing of man and machine in dance drew thousands of spectators to Victoria Park at London's International Festival of Contemporary Dance (2008). The oddly mesmerizing dance was called "Transports Exceptionnels" and was performed by a French experimental dance group, Compagnie Beau Geste.
Their dance form is certainly original as the digger moves slowly in a pas de deux with a male dancer. He does some careful balancing moves, including one where he hangs from the bucket upside down by his knees and the digger swings around!
