'Hope and Dream' by Makoto Tojiki Turns Lights into Moving Figures

This scintillating art show is a kinetic sculptural installation by Japan-based artist and sculptor Makoto Tojiki entitled 'Hope and Dream.' It was designed in Hong Kong for the 30th anniversary celebration of lavish beauty brand 'Clé de Peau Beauté.'

The luminous figures depict a young girl with open hands, releasing a bird into flight. With nine different units available, viewers can see a sequential installation of the bird flying off in different motions. The set up resembles that of a multiframe-shot photography series. The darkened gallery enhances the 3D light forms, which are intensely radiant.
