Make your Franklin is a self-described community project that encourages artists to reflect on the world and “re-create a symbol of modern society: the $100 banknote.” Anyone with artistic ability is encouraged to participate, and from the entries that currently exist on its website, it seems it already has recreated many banknotes. It’s not uncommon to find poorly executed doodles in Make your Franklin’s online gallery, but more often than not, you’ll find the works of talented individuals.

Though these re-designed banknotes are hilarious in nature, they often offer unique and provocative social criticisms. Among the most popular themes used in these re-designed banknotes are corporations, celebrities and current affairs.
