Austrian artist Gabi Trinkaus lives and works in Vienna. She is a widely known and exhibited artist who makes these amazing images using mixed media and collages made from magazine tear-outs. I love the layered and frayed look of these portraits, the technique adds a kind of frailness and vulnerability to the characters. The result is slightly sad but beautiful art for your walls.
