Luxury Living For Pets - The Wag Hotel (VIDEO)

The Wag Hotel is targetted at wealthy pet owners who feel guilty for leaving their pets behind while they travel. The Wag hotel is the lap of luxury for pets with designer decor and ridiculous features that are obviously more appealing to the pet owners than to the pets themselves. Case in point - designer Wag bags for $150 a pop, luxury rooms with plasma screens and classical music. It has luxury features galore - the Wag Hotel would give any five-star human hotel a definite run for its money.
This week we bring you a new dog and cat hotel which offers pampered pooches and molly coddled kittens suites for up to £65 per night. Fourteen Luxury suites include plasma screens, chic sofas, paintings (presumably of dogs playing poker), rugs, toys, classical music and playgroup activities. Billed as the luxury alternative to boarding kennels for owners who are going on holidays, the new Wag Hotel in San Francisco features all the facilities of typical five-star human hotel.
Apart from the designer décor, the hotel features swimming pools, gyms, kitchens, pet chefs, and massage and pedicure rooms and a rooftop lawn fopr outdoor exercise. The 10,600 sqm hotel for dogs and cats will open on the 12th of May and includes more than 200 rooms, a grooming centre and an exclusive pet store selling $150 designer Wag bags. At Las Vegas, the America Dog and Cat Hotel is targeting wealthy local pet owners who need a place to leave their beloved pets when they are away.
