The Lumijoy Packaging is Fun and Interactive for the Consumer

Students Jehremy Harris and Aditi Soni recently came up with a new packaging concept called 'Lumijoy' for the popular mint brand Mentos. Inspired by the brand's Hindi tagline, the new packaging is designed to help the brand bring its product to life in India.

Harris and Soni came up with the idea for the Lumijoy packaging after hearing the brand's Hindi tagline "Dimaag Ki Batti Jalaa De," which loosely translates into the phrase "Make one's mind light up." The students took this idea literally and created a spherical package that lights up when opened. The idea is to illuminate the mints and bring the product to life as soon as the package is opened.

By cleverly playing on Mentos' existing tagline, Harris and Soni created an amusing and multifunctional package that keeps the consumer engaged even when they are not eating the mints.
