The Lorde Solar Power merch collection was created in collaboration with sustainable fashion brand Everybody.World and it helps fans express their love of the artist, all the while sporting styles made from 100% recycled fabric.
The brand uses post-industrial cotton waste obtained from yarn factories to create its eco-friendly fabric and this resulted in the creation of ethically minded and environmentally conscious merch for Lorde. As Carolina Crespo, the company’s co-founder and managing director, says, Lorde "was specifically interested in our Trash Collection to offer fans gender-neutral pieces responsibly made from 100% recycled cotton."
Beyond the release of the Solar Power merch, Lorde is making more sustainable choices with her work by forgoing traditional plastic CDs and opting for the release of a digital album instead.
