Three cast members of Night of the Living Dead Live shared information on how this play is unlike any other. Set during the most appropriate time of year, this Halloween play kicks off the month of October with eerie thrills and chills.
There are many unique elements of this play. It is set in black and white, is a comedic horror and has a twist in the second act that will impress you and have you dying of laughter. Actors Mike Nahrgang, Darryl Hinds and Trevor Martin explain how this comedic spin of the classic 1968 horror film makes it perfectly adaptable for theater. They also shared their character roles and what they loved best about them. Each character is essential to making the production believable and aware of the social changes from the 60s until today.
The main goal for this living dead comedy is to pay tribute to George A. Romero’s film, while doing something completely innovative and original. Night of the Living Dead live makes crucial social commentaries while simultaneously remaining fun, spooky and highly entertaining.
