La Place Restaurant in the Netherlands came up with an innovative way to connect consumers to their restaurant -- through live streaming pizza making. The restaurant set up an interactive screen in a busy street and welcomed people to offer their favorite pizza flavors and combinations. To the surprise of many, on the other side of the screen was a real La Place location that was live streaming their kitchen. In addition, the chefs began creating each participant's fantasy pizza order in real time.

This form of ambient advertising is all about thinking outside the box. Live streaming pizza was a great way for the brand to create an exciting and authentic connection to new consumers, a feat that is extremely difficult to do.
