The 'Little Sun Charge' is the perfect device for anyone who finds themselves going off the grid and needs a little extra juice.

Currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter, this high-performance solar phone charger is a joint effort designed by artist Olafur Eliasson and engineer Frederik Ottesen. Using natural sunlight and solar cells the 'Little Sun Charge' is able to charge mobile devices and tablets to a full power after only five hours of sunlight. The device also has a standard USB port and comes equipped with a LED flashlight built right into its small flat body.

Although perfect for anyone on the go, this charger's main purpose is to provide clean and cheap power to anyone, especially those living in developing countries, who don't have access to a reliable source of energy.
