I guess feathery bird-like fashion is definitely in. We’ve seen it on Louis Vuitton runways, on Madonna and in new fashion editorials.

Now the avian trend invades ad campaigns as well,  evident in the new Viva Glam ad for MAC cosmetics featuring Fergie.

The ad promotes Fergie’s new lip gloss for MAC, Viva Glam VI Special Edition, which benefits the brand’s HIV/AIDS fund.

“I remember the ads with RuPaul and buying the first color, but it was pretty dark for my skin,” Fergie explains, describing her choice of a pale, shimmery plum for the product. “I love a natural lip.”

I think it's great that Fergie uses her fame and products to promote AIDS awareness.

I agree Sandy, I applaud any celeb using their fame for good. The image is a bit scary though. Makes you wonder how drag queen RuPaul looked more feminine in his/her MAC Viva Glam ad.
