I have come across a few modern furnishing designs that combine floor lamps with armchairs, but none that have taken the approach of the Linear LED Chair in integrating illumination into the structure of the seat. This unique piece by Liely Faulkner is constructed of rigid aluminum bars that have been embedded with light-emitting diode technology. As such, the object appears to have been manufactured of irradiating slats.
Four Darkon Grazer LED profiles have been joined to form a section of the backrest, the seat, the riser and the base support for a cantilevered style. The structure is stiff enough to bear the weight of a sitter. Simply plug the Linear LED Chair into a wall socket and appreciate the bright yellow glow of the futuristic piece.
