Lincoln Unveils the 2009 MKS Sedan (CAS 2008) (VIDEO)

The 2009 front-wheel drive Lincoln MKS luxury sedan made its production debut at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show. It is the first to embrace Lincoln’s all new design that features double wing grille, jewel-like headlights, sharply defined high beltline, insinuating kick-up over the rear wheel, dramatic C-pillars, tall rear deck, and large wheels. The base price is $38,000.
The 2008 Auto Show runs from February 8th to 17th at McCormick Place, Lake Shore Drive at 23 rd Street.
Available with all-wheel drive as an option, the MKS is equipped with the Lincoln exclusive, fuel-efficient 270 horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift that offers the option to manually select gears. Lincoln MKS will also be the first vehicle to offer Ford’s new gasoline turbo direct injection engine technology. A luxurious cabin seat 5-passengers in comfort, and the symmetrical instrument panel blends smoothly into the large center console. The large trunk holds a healthy 18.4 cu. ft. of cargo.
