The new Lil Wayne album cover comes from Kanye West’s creative collective DONDA and features an all black, minimalist cover accented by a ink blot image of a butterfly in faint red.
Last year, Kanye’s DONDA collective created the cover for 2 Chainz 'Based On A True Story' album, which received widespread praise. Now Lil Wayne’s album cover for 'I Am Not A Human Being 2' gets the royal West treatment.
DONDA is not another name for Kanye West in the form of a graphic designer if that’s what your thinking (although he would do something like that.) It’s actually a group of creatives who Kanye’s brought together to design a variety of items.
