The Tripp Trapp from Stokke is a high chair that is meant to be used for several years by your children. I think with some new engineering, this could be a lifetime chair/gaming chair/barstool.

At any rate, Tripp Trapp is thinking short term and that the chair will last a few years anyway. The chair actually won design awards for the ergonomics and safety. It’s made of pretty wood, with optional padding.
