The LG G Flex Phone Has an Extremely Durable Elastic Coating

One of the most impressive things about the LG G Flex phone is its unusually curvaceous design, but LG recently released a video on its "self-healing" abilities. The demonstration involved running a bronze brush over the back of the LG G Flex. Over the course of two minutes, the cover miraculously heals itself.

YouTube user Marques Brownlee wasn’t entirely convinced by LG’s controlled tests and tried out a few experiments of his own. In his own series of experiments, he scratches the elastic-coated back of the LG G Flex phone with a set of keys, cuts into it with a knife and bends the curve so that the phone lies flat. The phone holds up quite well, bouncing back from most of these tests with what seems like pure magic. Stats for Scratch-Healing Smartphones Trending: Older & Mild
