Why a Stone and Steel Watch Needed to be Made…Some play the game. Others change it.

The avid watch enthusiasts behind the Seattle based Lexell Team – so named for the closest comet to pass earth in 1770 – had come to the realization that most watches, especially those in the mid-price bracket, were essentially made of the same materials. They wanted to create something different, something eye catching, yet natural, beautiful and enduring.

It was time to shake-up the watch market and create a timepiece that was unlike anything else on the market. When it comes down to it, these watches are really cool/unique looking and they feel even better.

Stone and steel perfectly compliment each other. Together they make for a fantastic, sleek looking watch. The first collection uses 4 different stones in their designs: white & black quartzite, granite and slate. Each stone has drastically different characteristics. They have also announced they are coming out with a women's line. The women's watches will use white stones and be matched with GOLD & SILVER stainless steel!
