This Ultrasonic Levitation Machine Can Levitate Objects in Air

American inventor and innovator Richard Haberkern has invented an incredible ultrasonic levitation machine that harnesses the power of sound waves to levitate small objects. The device essentially helps you create an anti-gravity field.

The levitation effect is achieved by aiming an ultrasonic sound beam at a reflector. By adjusting the contraption accordingly, a standing wave can be created that can cause objects to float within its range.

Usually, you'd expect an ultrasonic device this powerful to produce ear-shattering pressure waves. However, the Sonic Levitation Machine's pressure waves only travel a very short distance, meaning your ears are safe from the waves.

Haberkern has taken to Kickstarter to raise funds for production and distribution of the Sonic Levitation Machine. Stats for Gravity-Defying Toys Trending: Older & Average
