Up until the LEGO Architecture Studio, the iconic building block kits have revolved around creating specific structures, whether they were inspired by real-life monuments or fantastical ones. This time around, however, the company has decided to foster the creativity and imagination of their customers in a freer manner. Instead of providing the usual instruction manuals, the LEGO Architecture Studio encourages them to make whatever comes to mind.
Made up of over 1,200 monochromatic white and translucent pieces, the LEGO Architecture Studio does come with a "250-page book of Lego experiments conceived by the leading contemporary architecture firms like SOM, REX and Sou Fujimoto," as reported on Cool Hunting. There is a good reason why the recommended age to play with the kit seems old at 16 and up.
