Le Novelle Cake is an Indonesian bakery that has become known for its elaborate and towering wedding cakes. The cakes are inspired by extravagant architecture, including castles from Disney films and highly detailed Japanese pagodas. The tallest creations can stand over 20 feet and must be transported by truck as they don't fit safely in a normal car or van. Depending on the order, Le Novelle Cake can also rig up lighting to bring the edible castle, church or carousel it built to life.

On average each cake takes between three weeks to a month to build, with the most detailed orders requiring a team of up to 24 people working 12-hour days. As you'd expect Le Novelle Cake charges a pretty penny for its services. Cakes start at $5,000 and can go all the way up to $500,000. (The cake costing half a million dollars had 100 diamond rings inside of it.) Unfortunately the most elaborate cakes are not 100 percent edible as Styrofoam is used to create elements like archways and balconies.
