Hamburg, Germany-based artist Moki's paintings are beautiful, serene and dreamlike, with illustrations of nature merging with humans. The idea of being one with nature is depicted in the most literal sense in Moki's paintings.

She explains the northern landscapes she visualizes on the artwork as "isolated Scandinavian and Icelandic terrain, a subarctic frozen lake continent, untouched caves and moss meadows, and mountains sculpted into anatomical shapes by wind and water," according to her website.

When people get away for the weekend to their cottages and even go for nature walks, what is depicted in Moki's paintings are what they are really longing for.

As much as we'd like to ignore it from time to time, art forms such as this one do a good job of reminding us that we are in fact a part of a bigger system that consists of the nature right within it. Stats for Surreal Merging Landscape Portraits Trending: Older & Buzzing
