Looking at the La Perla Fall/Winter 2009 collection of lingerie, I can’t deny that I’m a bit relieved. In a season where dominatrix-style spikes and corsets are, well, dominating, it’s nice to see lingerie that is delicate and feminine, yet sexy all the same.

As shown in the photos in this gallery, the La Perla Fall/Winter 2009 collections—Malizia by La Perla and Joelle by La Perla—feature floral embroidery, fine silky finishes, and a delicate use of lace. It’s all romantic and alluring, but the best part? No whips required.
