The chart lists major depression, dysthymia and bipolar disorder as the three main kinds of depression, plus a host of common symptoms, from thoughts of suicide or death to physical ones such as chronic pain and digestive problems. The infographic includes many other statistics. For example, 9.2 million of the 17 to 20 million Americans developing depression every year have major or clinical depression.
