This 214 Kia Superbowl commercial takes inspiration from the sci-fi classic The Matrix. Actor Laurence Fishburne reprises his role as Morpheus from the famous trilogy in this parody of, and tribute to, the well-known red pill/blue pill scene.

In this Kia Superbowl commercial, a couple goes to retrieve their car from the concierge, only to find Fishburne's Morpheus in his place. The actor than asks them to pick a red key or a blue, the red key being the new Kia K900, touted as the ultimate luxury vehicle. The commercial ends with the couple driving away in the Kia as Fishburne sings Nessun Dorma so hard it causes street lights to explodes and other cars to blow away.

This Kia Superbowl commercial is a fun, memorable and exciting use of the celebrity cameo. Stats for Alternate Reality Car Commercials Trending: This Year & Average
