This key holder was inspired by the iconic 50s Phrase ‘Honey I'm Home!’ and is truly adorable. A designer duo from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Luz Cabrera and Malorie Pangilinan, created the home hardware as a literal interpretation of the phrase.
By mixing the aspects of entering a home with honey-inspired designs, the designers created the aptly titled 'Honey I'm Home!' key holder. The key holder is a wall mount that resembles a honeycomb. It also comes with matching keychains that fit in the hexagonal honeycomb cells.
The artists believe that the 50s phrase “drew images of the American Dream and being able to come home after a long day.” In turn, their keychains represent bees returning to the beehive after a long day of work too.
