The Kent and Curwen Fall 2014 Menswear Collection abruptly collides with the 21st century by tipping its hat to luxury designers Calvin Klein, Saint Laurent and Ralph Lauren. Bridging the no man's land of urban heritage, the finished wardrobe takes risks when it comes to forming male silhouettes by keeping cuts slim and masculine.
Inspired by naval uniforms, textural fabrics and color palettes flex the designer's creative muscles, along with hexagonal quilting and shearling panels that add dimension. Lemon yellow and teal leather pop against monochrome outfits of khaki, and deep olive greens contrast beautifully with navy trousers. You can see the military inspiration in the collection, however leather bomber jackets add an interesting edge to a straight cut theme.
