Although puppets are meant to be playful and entertaining, there is an underlying metaphor that speaks to the idea of control; whether or not that is meant to come through the Kendall Jenner Fendi ad campaign is up for debate. Yet it appears that might be the case due to the dark and moody look of the imagery captured.

The Kendall Jenner Fendi ad campaign was shot in studio by none-other-than Karl Lagerfeld himself. Captured against a pitch black backdrop with oversized wooden puppets in the background, the brunette beauty is clad in the luxury label's fall 2015 pieces including camel coats and color-blocked pants. It appears that the model of the moment is continue to rise up in the industry with strong brands and photoshoots.
