Surreal illustrations will never grow stale, and these Ken Wong creations definitely dazzle eyes with their peculiar concepts and masterful execution.

As of late, Wong seems to be preoccupied with painting aquatic creatures and often pairs fish -- goldfish in particular -- with human subjects. He incorporates these bulbous-eyed creatures with little regard to real-world physics and conditions as they’re normally depicted floating around in the air. One odd image even pairs goldfishes with a pear, attaching the animate creatures via umbilical cords to the inanimate fruit.

Ken Wong currently works as a digital artist, designer and art director residing in Australia. His ideas and images have been featured in video games and art books. On occasion, he’s even led workshops giving advice to up-and-coming illustrators on how they can better their craft. Stats for Surreal Aqueous Artistry (UPDATE) Trending: Older & Mild
