The latest evidence of this trend has been with the unveiling of hot new corset stylings designed specifically for men, as showcased during a recent Paris event. Women have long been the hapless victims of cruel and unusal fashion - from stiletto heels to skinny jeans. But today, men are no longer excluded.  After skirts, make-up and pantyhose for men, the corset, onetime symbol of women's oppression, might be the next big thing for fashion-conscious.
"Corsets were long a wound for women," he said. "But today if a woman decides to wear a corset it is a sign of empowerment, not of submission."
