This is a very random story indeed. To celebrate his 56th birthday, Vladimir Putin has launched a judo instructional DVD. Who knew that the Russian prime minister was a black belt in judo?

The title of the martial arts workout tape is ‘Let’s Learn Judo with Vladimir Putin.’ Unlike traditional fitness DVDs, this features a section where Prime Minister Putin discusses the history behind judo and the philosophy of martial arts.
