Photographer Kayla Varley shot this remarkable shoot at a shop on Melrose called Chuck's Vintage. The rebellious edge from this shoot comes from the model's attitude and the fact that they snuck into an abandoned house to shoot one of the looks for the editorial. The series is entitled 'Magarita' after model Margarita Kallas at LA Models.
Denim looks seem to dominate the shoot, but lace and vintage Victorian pieces are also mixed in. Combat and cowboy boots add that extra punch to the shoot, keeping it lively and impactful. Even the softer looks shot in the abandoned house have a beautiful rebellious nature about them. The model had no makeup or hairstyling done, making it raw and all the more inspiring.
Kayla Varley's choice of setting really complimented the theme of the shoot, and the model seems so at home no matter where she is.
