Last night, the world watched Kara DioGuardi’s debut as a judge on ‘American Idol,’ and the consensus is that Simon Cowell has some stiff competition for the ‘mean judge’ moniker.

Check out this video clip below, in which Kara DioGuardi decides to show a bikini-clad ‘American Idol’ contestant exactly how “Vision of Love” by Mariah Carey should be sung.

During last night’s episode, the standoff between Kara DioGuardi and the bikini-clad contestant, Katrina Darrell, lasted much longer. Despite GioGuardi’s disapproval of her performance, Darrell made it through to the next round of ‘American Idol.’
