The fashion industry produces a lot of waste when it comes to fabric and KaLLio helps put some of that garbage to use by making effortlessly cool clothing for kids. Based out of Brooklyn, KaLLio focuses on upcycling fabric that is salvaged from the garment industry that would otherwise end up in a landfill.

The logic behind KaLLio is relatively seamless (pun intended): take pieces of fabric that aren't large enough to make adult clothing and turn it into garments for kids. What the company creates is clothing that rivals much of the designer styles for kids out there and helps draw attention to an issue within the fashion industry when it comes to design and waste. KaLLio helps to make garbage into garments and if that isn't one of the best things you've heard all day then I'll be darned.
