While this light is somewhat tacky, that’s exactly what makes it appealing. It’s also quite disturbing. Is it just me, or can you think of just about anything else that is more relaxing to look at than a hand grasping an injection, junkie-style? My point exactly.

This is a tad harsh so I will just say that the shade is a shining example of how designers can push the boundaries of “statement” lighting.
