25-year-old artist JR does his best work undercover. He has become famous for plastering his own photography around different cities in the form of over-sized posters.
"Using a camera he found once in the subway, JR finds inspiration in informal encounters he makes following his travels and his intuitions," his site explains.
The artist is known for getting locals involved in his art, specifically be getting them to help him with his public exhibitions. His work has been seen in Brazil, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, South Africa and many other countries. The video is in Portuguese, but check it out for a more in depth discovery of his work.
