Shiner is Joe Manus and Joe Manus is Shiner. Got it? Good.
The designer created the eco-friendly furniture collection above in the slow-moving, smooth-talking city of Atlanta, and named his collection after the southern colloquialism for a black eye. Being from Kentucky, let's just say I have had my fair share of 'shining' experiences. Damn kids.
Anyway, according to Joe Manus, 'shiners are tough, dark, and proudly damaged.' Well Joe, we definitely like it for a furniture philosophy, just keep those shiners off of our face!
