Etnia Barcelona used the popular art work of J.M. Basquiat for inspiration for its new line of sunglasses.

Considering the New York artist's seemingly everlasting popularity and legend, this collection of sunglasses that incorporates his iconic crown symbol and paintings will be appreciated by art lovers. The 'Basquiat Collection' uses three of the artist's works -- 1994's 'Glenn,' 1981's 'Fallen Angel' and 1983's 'In This Case.'

Given J.M. Basquiat's vibrant inclusion of color and his internationally celebrated iconic style, the glasses within the series feature accents that are sure to be recognized by envious onlookers. Each of the paintings is reflected subtly in the arms of the glasses, making them pop with bright accents. The colors used by J.M. Basquiat are shown in the color of the lenses as well, with the powerful reds of 'In This Case' translated to a more subdued and flattering rose shade in the glasses.
