The Jil Sander fall 2014 Collection continues to conduct its ongoing search for a new creative director, so the in-house team is currently calling the shots. All of the garments found in the collection are beautifully cut and crafted, doing fine justice to the twin pillar trademarks of the purist mindset.

The collection features Sander's signature clean lines, but are softly updated with tucks across shift dress fronts. In longer dress shapes there's a taught across the hips, but loose around the chest. The palette ranges from deeply muted pastels as if only a drop of sea green, lavender or pink grapefruit had been dropped into a pool of white ink.

As a whole, the collection is subtle, soft and lovely. Jackets and dresses are as clean as can be with no pockets or visible seaming.
